Mammad Ismayılov

Mammad Ismayılov completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of History at Gaziantep University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He obtained his master's degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University and completed his Ph.D. in International Law at Ankara Social Sciences University in August 2025. During his doctoral studies, he worked at the National Research Center for Maritime Law (DEHUKAM). He also served as a researcher in Scientific Research Projects (BAP) focusing on the monitoring of human rights. In addition, he has taken part in several projects on maritime law conducted within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1001 Program. Ismayılov has written analytical articles on issues related to the South Caucasus and international law for various platforms, including Anadolu Agency, SETA, the Institute of Strategic Thinking (SDE), Global Defense Magazine, and Independent Turkish.
