Dr Andreas Krieg is an associate professor in Security Studies at King’s College London and a fellow at King’s Institute of Middle Eastern Studies, currently seconded to the Royal College of Defence Studies. In his research Andreas has focused on the integration of state and non-state actors across a range of domains with a geographic focus on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. His forthcoming book “Subversion – the Weaponization of Narratives” looks at how authoritarian states rely on complex information networks to achieve political ends below the threshold of war.
