Politics Today secures its legal provision over the published News, Opinion, Interview, Video and Podcast through a Copyright Transfer Agreement, which is signed between the Author and the Publisher. A royalty payment determined by the Publisher is paid to the Author in exchange for the exclusive publishing rights over the work. Subject to this therefore, Condition 2.1 of the Agreement clearly states that:
“The AUTHOR hereby transfers his/her financial rights relating to publication, distribution, reproduction, compilation, representation and adaptation of the WORK to the PUBLISHER.”
