Hurşit Dingil is an analyst holding a Ph.D., specializing in security studies and regional studies. He completed his M.A. in International Relations at İstanbul Medeniyet University in 2019 with a thesis titled "National Security Strategies Under Putin Period and Syria Intervention." From 2020 to 2024, he served as a Security Researcher at the Centre for Iranian Studies (IRAM). In 2024, he obtained his Ph.D. from the International Relations Doctoral Program at İstanbul Medeniyet University, successfully defending his dissertation titled "The Iran-Israel Struggle in the Context of Great Power Competition (2017-2023)." He currently lectures on security strategies and doctrines at the Centre for Area Studies in Ankara (BAM), and his primary research interests include national security strategies and doctrines, Great Power Competition, asymmetric and hybrid threats, and emerging threats (Iranian ballistic missiles, hypersonic missiles, kamikaze UAVs, loitering munitions and UCAVs).
