Romain Lanneau is a Beyond Borders PhD fellow at ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius. He holds three law degrees from different legal systems and has focused his studies on human rights. He is a recent graduate of a research LL.M on international migration and refugee law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In the past, Lanneau has worked for several NGOs, including the Odysseus Academic Network, the biggest research network on migration and refugee laws in Europe.
